Revenge Season 4 Episode 13 Recap

Last week episode of Revenge Victoria Grayson and Emily Thorne were in the middle of a good ol' fashioned screaming match when everyone's favorite Canadian, Malcolm, shot them with tranquilizers. Now these arch enemies are rotting away in a jail cell, while everyone else is epically failing to rescue them. No seriously, Jack Porter is not qualified to be a policeman. Someone please help him help himself.

Victoria and Emily Get Their Bond On, Jack Porter Attempts To Hatch A Plan. Victoria and Emily have been Malcolm-napped, and now it's up to David Clarke and Jack Porter to save them. In other words, we're so worried. To make matters worse, Malcolm wants his daughter, Agent Kate Taylor, alive which is slightly tricky considering that Jack murdered her. The thought of David and Jack being responsible for Victoria and Emily's fate is a terrifying prospect, but fortunately, Jack convinces Officer Ben Hunter to join the dream team.

Sure, Ben is slightly moody due to being left out of the revenge loop, but at least he has a few functioning brain cells. With his help, Jack and David re-edit Kate's voice messages so Malcolm thinks she's alive, and then Ben and Jack set about locating Emily and Victoria. Sounds like a plan! Of course David is no help whatsoever, and decides to go on some insane vigilante mission all on his lonesome.

Meanwhile, Victoria and Emily spend their time in jail braiding each other's hair and making friendship lanyards, by which we mean arguing every spare second they get. And to make matters more tense, Victoria gives up Jack's name in exchange for her potential freedom, which prompts Emily to tell Victoria that David's trying to kill her.

Louise Ellis Gains Her Freedom, David's Plan Fails. Now that Louise Ellis has stopped taking the unprescribed medication that her family was secretly feeding her, she's ready to plot her revenge. The perfect opportunity? When this Southern belle's mother decides to summer in The Hamptons after learning from Lyman that her darling daughter is acting out. Mrs. Ellis threatens to cut off Louise financially, which gives Nolan a brilliant idea: He and Louise should totally get married! That usually solves all problems.

These fast friends decide to get hitched on the fly, making Nolan Louise's conservator which means he controls her cash flow. Sounds good, except Mrs. Ellis is like"Oh, I forgot to mention that you killed your father and I'm going to tell everyone, bye!" So, yeah, it's safe to say that plan backfired.

While Louise battles her domineering mother, one of Malcolm's henchmen pays a visit to Jack and Ben, but fear not Ben beats said henchman to a pulp and finds a clue to Emily's location hidden on his body. Meanwhile, David "I Am Literally the Worst at Planning Things Ever" meets up with Malcolm for a daughter switcheroo, but Malcolm immediately realizes that Kate is dead, shoots David in the thigh, and locks him up with Emily and Victoria. You know what that means: Jack and Ben have to save the day. God help us all. Jack Is an Unlikely Hero, Margaux Is an Unlikely Enemy. Despite plotting Victoria's death, David refuses to kill either Emily or Victoria when Malcolm asks him to. Naturally, Malcs decides he should probably burn them to a crisp instead starting with Emily! However, before Malcolm can kill off "Revenge's" main revenger, Victoria saves Em's life and tells Malcolm that she killed Kate. Shocking. Of course, before Malcolm can fly into a rage, Ben and Jack actually manage to save the day and Malcolm ends up being shot! Plus, Victoria apologizes to David for betraying him. So...happy ending? Not quite. Remember last week when Victoria told Margaux the truth about Emily? Thanks to all those pregnancy hormones, Margaux basically cannot with Miss Thorne, and decides to reveal her secret. Of course, first she has to hire a henchman of her own to find evidence, and we have a feeling we'll see this handsome fellow when Revenge returns. Every episode is getting better and better and a lot of things are happenings and more secrets revealed.

Revenge Season 4 Spoilers: Who Is Lyman? Louise’s Brother Teased to Have Possible Romance with Nolan

New Year, new drama. And that’s exactly what Revenge fans can anticipate when Season 4 airs episode 12, “Madness,” on Sunday, Jan. 11. According to the synopsis for next week’s exciting installment, viewers will get to watch David’s premeditative plan of taking down Victoria begin. But daddy dearest won’t be working solo on this menacing plot he’ll be requiring the help of his vengeance-seeking daughter Emily to finally kill the woman who caused so much chaos in their lives.

Sunil Nayar, the series showrunner, teased to E! Online that this shift in the storyline would help “deepen relationship with her father.” Talk about a strange bonding experience.

But believe us – that’s only the beginning to the family drama set to occur in “Madness.” According to reports, everyone’s favorite, crazy southerner Louise will be having her fair share of family woes when her easy-on-the-eyes brother makes his Hamptons debut.

TVLine reported that the ever so handsome Sebastian Pigott would be taking on the role of Louise’s kin, acting as her brother Lyman. Lyman is described as a manipulative character that uses his southern charm and familiarity with politics to get ahead. And from the promo pictures of episode 12, it looks like he’ll be using his charisma on an unsuspecting victim: Nolan.

Since Louise made her first appearance on the hit ABC series, fans have known that the red head beauty has been up to no good. But we can only imagine what Louise will do now that she equally as mischievous brother is in town. It was theorized by TVLine that the golden child of the Ellis family would be catching the eye of a completely smitten Nolan. But would Emily’s BFF be so foolish as to trust anyone related to crazy Louise?

We have a feeling that Nolan’s dinner party is perhaps the event which leads to a possible budding relationship with Lyman. In the promo images it’s shown that Louise gets rather undone when Emily makes her unexpected arrival to the table. Sweet Lyman tries to calm his sister down but she’s inconsolable. Is it possible Nolan will be fooled by Lyman’s alleged caring heart for his blatantly mental sister? As if Nolan’s friendship with Louise couldn’t get any weirder.

Revenge Season 4 Episode 6 Recap Emily Reveals Herself in David

Ladies and gentlemen, Revenge season 4 our proverbial cat is finally out of the bag. Actually, that’s a bit of an understatement. More accurately, the cat emerged from the bag, ripped it to shreds and peed all over it. Meow.

That was my roundabout way of saying that Emily finally revealed her true identity to David in the final moments of Sunday’s episode, though it wasn’t exactly the warm-and-fuzzy reunion we’d all been hoping for. Upon discovering that David had been monitoring Amanda’s activities in the Hamptons, Emily lashed out at her crazy bearded father for not coming to her aid sooner. Needless to say, he was a little too stunned to explain himself.

So how does Victoria plan to avoid being exposed for the double-crossing, impeccably dressed villainess that she is? Well, it turns out Vicky always has a Plan B — even when she doesn’t realize she has one. A brewing storm struck down a power line outside Emily’s old place, knocking Victoria unconscious as she attempted to flee the scene of the Clarke Family Reunion 2014.

Of course, Victoria wasn’t the only Grayson who had a shocking encounter with Emily this week. Daniel who finally knows Emily’s secret, thanks to Charlotte’s pre-exit confession — attempted to intimidate her during an unfortunate elevator run-in, but in typical Daniel fashion, Emily shut his ass down almost immediately. It’s often said that God doesn’t give with both hands, and I’m pretty sure Daniel Grayson is living proof of that.

I’ve said it once, but it begs repeating: The crazier Louise gets, the more I love her — and this week, we finally learned the source of her insanity. She’s been having visions of her mother, played to absolute perfection by Carolyn Hennesy, who doesn’t seem to think Louise is good enough, no matter how hard she tries. This week’s wacky action involved Louise locking Margaux in the steam room at their health club, nearly killing her. But neither attempted murder, nor a glass of wine in the face — courtesy of a steaming mad Margaux was enough to convince Daniel to drop Louise as a client. He sure does like ‘em crazy.

Have Nolan’s days of Liberace-esque excess finally come to an end? Tired of the media hounding him night and day he’s even managed to predict the arrivals of news helicopters to the second the former party boy bought himself a new, off-the-grid Batcave this week, and from Mr. Sheffield, no less! I have no idea what Nolan’s next move is, but should he decide to adopt a trio of golden-haired children, I’m sure the house’s former owner could recommend some good help.

When he told Jack he wasn’t allowed to make a personal call to Emily during his shift, I became one of those nut jobs no offense, Louise who talks to people that aren’t there, though I’d rather not repeat what I yelled at TV-Ben in the event that children are reading this. Anyhoo, Ben continued his investigation into Conrad’s murder, and at this point, I have to ask: Does anyone else think the former Grayson patriarch might still be alive?

Revenge Season 4 Episode 3 Sum Up

Another day, another pearl clutching episode of Revenge Season 4 Episode 3 in which we ate our emotions in the form of lobster rolls. But before we get into tonight's recap, you're probably wondering whether Emily Thorne died in a fiery pit of doom thanks to Charlotte Grayson tapping into her inner arsonist during last week's episode. The answer is obviously no, because there's still more revenging to be done, Emily has to meet her undead father, and this girl literally cannot be killed, no matter how many times she's shot, half-drowned or asphyxiated. But what's on Miss Thorne's Revegenda now that she's been betrayed by her sister? Read our recap to find out!

Now that Victoria Grayson's convinced David Clarke that the key to their happiness lies in ridding The Hamptons of Emily, there's only one thing to be done: Victoria must recruit her minions otherwise known as her children. Unfortunately, Daniel wants nothing to do with his mother thanks to the fact that she abandoned him for six months and even more unfortunately, Victoria runs into her former psych ward bestie, Louise, who's definitely up to no good. More on that later.

Since Daniel rejects Victoria in favor of solitude and self pity, she turns to Charlotte and together they decide to take Emily down once and for all. But first Charlotte has to re-connect with David Clarke in the creepy cabin they're staying in! So much bonding, so little time.

Last time we checked on Emily she was face-planted on the floor of The Stowaway surrounded by a bunch of smoke. Luckily, Jack and his denim jacket break into the bar and rescue Ems before she dies but instead of exacting revenge on her sister, Emily is overcome by guilt. In one last effort to mend fences, Emily pings Charlotte's cell phone, finds her at David Clarke's cabin hideout, and wanders into the woods for a family reunion only to be held up at gunpoint by Victoria. While Emily does manage to yell a quick apology in Charlotte's general direction, she doesn't run into David because apparently he was out foraging in the woods for mushrooms or something. Who knows what that guy gets up to....

In other news, we're slightly concerned about the local wildlife now that Victoria has a rifle. Please immediately fly south, birds of New York State.

Time to catch up with Revenge's resident hero Jack Porter, who despite being arrested for abduction is still a policeman. Poor Jack is devastated that his father's bar was burned to a crisp, and spends most of this episode tenderly frolicking in the ashes before running into a local yokel who informs him that Charlotte was at the scene of the crime. Naturally, Jack has an emotional meltdown about Emily lying to him, and then spends the rest of the episode contemplating whether or not to rebuild The Stowaway. Ultimately, he decides not to which probably has something to do with his secret desire to start a new life with Emily. Too bad Jack's partner, Officer Hunter, is also into Ems...as is made evident when he shows up in the woods and asks her on a date. Judging you, Officer Hunter.

Over in the devious world of Voulez Magazine, Margaux and Daniel are perfecting the art of making out whilst simultaneously scheming, and their new mission? For Daniel to "take Wall Street by storm" by getting chummy with an old school friend. Sadly, no one wants to hire poor Danny, and to make matters worse he's kicked out of his hotel for failing to pay the bills. Maybe it's time for this former big wig to hit up a hostel, or at the very least stop unintentionally aiding and abetting in the murder of prostitutes.

In order for Victoria's sinister plans to work, she needs money but while she runs over to NYC to hit up Margaux for a few million dollars, several important events occur. First, Daniel gives Louise financial advice at a hotel bar, and then David takes matters into his own hands and hunts down Emily. Thanks to Victoria painting his daughter as a demonic life-ruiner, this former terrorist grabs his creepiest knife, dons a black hoodie and heads down to The Hamptons to confront Emily while her security system is down. The result? David stares at her while she sleeps , looks shocked as he presumably realizes that Emily is his child, and then escapes out the window as Nolan comes in shooting at him with a pistol. In other words, it was just your average night in The Hamptons.

Revenge Season 4 Episode 2 Old Flames

“I wish you would step back from that ledge my… estranged cokehead half-sister who wants me dead.” That’s the tune Emily sang on Sunday’s Revenge Season 4 as Charlotte attempted to nosedive off the roof of her hotel. Jack’s new cop buddy Ben who remains warm for Emily’s form managed to pull Charlotte off the edge, but she was still a shattered young lady. And just like Humpty Dumpty, there wasn’t a single thing capable of piecing Charlotte back together; not even the truth.

Emily thought that by admitting to kidnapping Charlotte and finally telling her about their mutual father, everything would be OK but Char wasn’t exactly buying Em’s “I didn’t have a choice” defense for using her all these years.

In fact, Charlotte was so peeved at Emily that she lured her to the Stowaway, knocked her out, then set the place ablaze. In addition to this being a solid revenge-y move on Charlotte’s part, it was also a clever way of eliminating the bar set. Elsewhere in the Hamptons this week…

That tense Victoria-David scene turned out to be a dream, which David somehow knew, because when he threw Victoria in her cell, he literally told her, “This isn’t a dream.” Victoria fired back with a few predictable lies, like how Conrad forced her to be “the good wife.” She also told David that he was always the love of her life. The lovers’ reunion became a little more truthful during a trip to the diner as if these two super-famous locals would just sit at a damn diner, devil may care when David admitted to killing Conrad. “I did it for you,” he told Victoria, which is really what every woman would want to hear in that situation. Then came the real twist: Victoria has already managed to turn David against Emily with just 11 little words; I cannot entertain a future with you until she’s been stopped.

As payback for Gideon’s dead-lady shenanigans, Daniel sabotaged one of his important I say important, even though Gideon didn’t even bother wearing an under shirt business meetings, because nothing screams don’t work with me like a surprise baggy of coke and Gideon’s week went from bad to worse when he threatened to kill Margaux and Daniel, then suddenly found himself in prison for having more drugs in his bag at the airport.

Revenge season 4 spoilers Emily Thorne go back to being Amanda Clarke

Emily Thorne may go back to being Amanda Clarke with the return of David Clarke. The final episode of the previous season was a total cliffhanger after a lot of characters exited the series and the way things turned out. First, Aiden was killed by Victoria who is now staying in a mental hospital by Emily's doing. Moreover, Conrad Grayson is left on the side of the road bleeding to death after he was attacked by David Clarke. All this time, Emily was avenging her father's alleged death. However, everything she worked for seemed worthless with the return of the person she is taking revenge for.

The last episode of "Revenge" season 3 revealed a shocking revelation after David Clarke appeared. It was speculated that he will stir things up next season. The episode titles of season 4 hinted on what could be the plot next season, although the show runner has not confirmed anything.

The first episode is entitled "Renaissance," which means new life or rebirth. Emily Thorne has spent quite a long time in her alter ego and it is probably about time to go back to being Amanda Clarke. It could also mean a new chapter for the protagonist as she may try to rediscover herself and learn who she really is.

The second episode is entitled "Disclosure". It could mean disclosure between the father and daughter as they have a lot to disclose. Fans thought that Emily deserved an explanation as to why her father did what he did. There is a big chance that Emily will not take the news about her father being alive easily. Watch Revenge season 4 will return to ABC on September 28.
